🧡 Project Restore: Restoring Dignity, One Life at a Time
Project Restore: Restoring Hope, Dignity & Joy in Arizona
Project Restore is a community initiative founded by Carla Monique Gibson to serve unhoused men and women in Arizona with compassion, care, and dignity.
Inspired by Carla’s Detroit roots and her mother’s work with Project Healthy Living, she grew up helping at December outreach events that offered:
Discounted salon, barber, and nail services
Health screenings and low-cost medical care
Clothing from a community closet
Sack lunches, hot meals, and holiday cheer
Entertainment from youth groups
A children’s corner filled with books, toys, and joy
Now living in Arizona, Carla is rebuilding that same spirit through Project Restore AZ — a growing movement rooted in service and love.
From November 2024 through April 2025, volunteers distributed sack lunches and hygiene kits every month.
This year, we’re preparing for the April 18th in collaboration with Turtle Island Women Warriors Non profit we gave out Care Package Back Packs and water on the final our reach day in 2026! We Served 110 Men and 110 Women along with someone provided hot meals and candy packets as well.
Care Packages included: clothing, hygiene kits, Chips, Candy Snacks, and cup of noodles.
This effort is just the beginning of a larger mission that will one day live inside a four-story multi-use community building housing:
Unique Monique’s Boutique LLC, Carla’s Cultivations LLC, and a future nonprofit- Project Restore LLC dedicated to year-round support.
